MODERN MOTOR CAR CHASSIS

Built in 1950s medium red/green (well some is Exacto too). It's A Meccano Magazine Model of the Month, January 1957 plus some embelishments. Back then I thought it was the "bees-knees" though I had to build my own version due to lack of parts. So in recent years, on a nostalga trip, I had a go at the official one. It has no built in motor so I mounted it on a rotating stand which also drove the transmission, but being a bit bulky was later removed. A super looking model but like so many Meccano in house models, not quite top notch in the design department. Featured in Constructor Quarterly No 35.
