Hello fellow Meccano enthusiasts!
I'm Dave Taylor and MECCANOMAN is a small family business operating from Great Dunmow in Essex, England. I'm ably assisted by Girl Friday & Wife, Marilyn, the better looking half of our team at Meccano events. She is also responsible for the Post Office and Bank runs, and a thousand other vital jobs (like providing regular caffeine injections!)

Son Ian is the technical genius behind our websites, MECCANOMAN & MECCANOSCENE and generally helps with technical support (ie he mends the computers and shows me which buttons to press).

I've been a Meccano enthusiast all my life (admittedly with the usual dormant period in the middle). The endless fascination with Meccano helped me enormously in my later life of engineering and building design, so I'm now trying to give something back to the hobby. We primarily supply Meccano and compatable products to enthusiasts and collectors as well as for educational, industrial and R&D uses.

We believe our inventory of Meccano & compatables to be by far the widest anywhere in the World and we work tirelessly to keep it ALL in stock and sell to you at AFFORDABLE prices. We maintain large stocks of used Meccano and supply products from Meccano(Nikko Toys), Ashok Banerjee, Metallus, and other specialists, together with items we commission ourselves. Not only can we supply virtually anything you could ever want, we can also do it in a variety of finishes!
